A chilled drink made with brandy, chilled champagne and Angostura bitters with sugar.

Serve In : Cocktail Glass (6 fl oz) as shown above

1 cube(s) of sugar
1 dash(es) Angostura bitters
1 fl oz (25 ml) brandy
4 fl oz (100 ml) chilled champagne
1 slice(s) of orange

  1. Place the sugar cube(s) in chilled cocktail glass(es). Pour the Angostura bitters and wet the sugar cube(s) thoroughly.
  2. Add the brandy. Fill up with the chilled champagne.
  3. Float the slice(s) of orange on top and serve.
    TIP:
  • Angostura bitters is a blend of herbs, spices and plant extracts. It was first developed by a German doctor in Angostura, Venezuela in 1824. It is a medical concoction originally intended to treat stomach ailments and fatigue. Now, it is a very popular and widely used bar item.
