One of the most popular classics, Margarita is a blend of tequila, Cointreau and lime juice served in a salt-rimmed Margarita coupette.

Serve In : Margarita Glass or Coupette (6 oz) shown above

1½ fl oz (37 ml) tequila
1 fl oz (25 ml) cointreau
1 fl oz (25 ml) lime juice
ice cubes as required
coarse sea salt enough to dip the rim of glass(es)
1 slice(s) of lime
  1. Apply some lime juice to the rim of margarita glass(es) and dip the rim in salt.
  2. Shake the tequila, cointreau and the lime juice with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Strain the mixture into the salt-rimmed margarita glass(es) and serve decorated with slice(s) of lime.
    TIP:
  • Cointreau is a clear and mildly bitter orange liqueur flavored with the peel of sweet and sour oranges from Curaçao and Spain.Cointreau is also known to be a high quality Triple sec.
