Celery Fruit Salad

Pineapple Cucumber

Fresh fruits and celery tossed together in sour cream. A very refreshing salad!


Vegetarian Quick and Easy Cooking

Style: Continental Vegetarian


4  cups mixed fruit pieces (grapes, apples, oranges, pineapple, banana, watermelon)
2  tablespoon(s) chopped cucumber
2  tablespoon(s) chopped tomatoes
2  teaspoon(s) lemon juice
1  tablespoon(s) chopped celery
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1  cup(s) sour cream
2  tablespoon(s) chopped walnuts

  1. In a bowl mix the fruits, cucumber, tomato, lemon juice, celery, salt and pepper. Pour in the sour cream and toss all the ingredients lightly till well mixed.
  2. Garnish with the walnuts and refrigerate.

    TIPS:

  • Always refrigerate a salad to chill well before serving.

Serve cold
