Kiddie Genius Math SyvumBook demo released
Calgary (CANADA), 24 August 1999.
Syvum Technologies announced the release of a demo version for the Kiddie
Genius Math SyvumBook. The Kiddie Genius series is designed as a learning
aid for children in the age group of 6 to 12. It consists of Math, English
and Knowledge in four grades. SyvumBook technology was invented by
Syvum, and has been first applied to the Kiddie Genius series.
There are 10 activities in each of the Kiddie Genius SyvumBooks. Each
activity requires a different analytical skill to stimulate the kids'
creativity. The Math demo aims to teach basic mathematical skills in
a fun way, and makes use of the state-of-the-art in software engineering
and multimedia technology.
The release of the Math demo is accompanied by the release of an enhanced
version of Kiddie Genius English demo. They are both available for download
from the Syvum web site. The Syvum startup kit announced on August 5, 199
is an integral part of the demo. This is in line with the new Syvum
philosophy of "Try them before you buy them." The full versions to
the Kiddie Genius products will be available for purchase in the form of
"upgrades" to the demo. They will be the SyvumBooks with all features
working.
