Online Activities and Demo Software Launched by Syvum
Calgary (CANADA), 20 November 1999.
Syvum Technologies announced the launch of online demonstration software
and activities
based on their novel SyvumBook technology. The online demonstrations are meant
to provide the potential customer with a feel for the new technology, and
for the demo they are about the download, or the product they intend to buy.
The online nature of the demonstrations significantly lowers the barrier to
exposure of the SyvumBook technology.
The initial online demonstrations are for the Kids English SyvumBook and English
Proverbs SyvumBook. The activities to be made online will be changed
on a regular basis to give the visitors a flavour for all of them.
As before, the demonstrations will be available for download to be
used offline. All SyvumBooks on sale will still require the Syvum Browser
that offers a much enhanced funtionality over the online demonstrations.
The offline usability drastically reduces the chances of children's
exposure to inappropriate content on the internet.
