India has varied climatic conditions 'cause of its physical features
The winds from the Bay of Bengal,Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea make the
climate of coastal areas moderate.However the interior parts are devoid of
those conditions making the interior parts dry.
The coastal areas get usual and heavy rain due to its location.The interior
parts experience comparitivelyless amt of rainfall.Some of the areas get
summer or winter rain due to retreating monsoons.
Moreover many mountains form climatic barriers.e.g.Himalayas prevent cold
freezing climate from the Arctic,Aravali ranges prevent the SW monsoons from
entering into Rajasthan.
