   The answer is clearly given below in the explanation

   The electrical gadgets used in a house such as bulbs,fans, heater, etc, are
   always connected in parallel, but not in series because of the following
   reasons:

	   The wiring will be less.
	   If there is any case of short circuit it will affect only the
   particular appliance.

   Rs. 156.

   Power = 4 kW

   Voltage = 220 V

   Time = 12 hrs

   Cost per unit = Rs. 3.25

   Total cost = Power * time * cost per unit

                    = 4 * 12 * 3.25

                    = 156

   Therefore the total cost of using the heater = Rs. 156

   The answer is clearly given below in the explanation

	   Nuclear energy depends on the mass of the nucleons whereas Chemical
   energy depends on the arrangement of electrons in the outer shell.
	   Nuclear substance emitting nuclear energy releases a lot of energy
   whereas Chemical substance emitting chemical energy releases a small amount
   of energy.

   3 ohm

   We know that the resistors are connected in parallel. So:

   1/RP = 1/6 + 1/2+ 1/4

   1/RP = 2/6

   RP = 6/2

   RP = 3

   = 3 ohm

   2 amphere

   We know the formula:

   V = I * R

   I = V / R

   By substituting the values in this formula, we get:

   I = 6 / 3

   I = 2 Å(amphere)
