On substituting,
A = 4250 [1+ 4/(2 x 100)]2 x 1 = 4250 [1+ 0.02]2 = 4250 x 1.02 x 1.02
= 4421.7
Interest = A - P = 4421.7 - 4250 = 171.7
The compound interest is Rs. 171.70
