Essay of 350-400 words
One day my family and I had decided to go
for a cricket match which was going to happen in an other two days time in
our home town between India and Pakistan. We were great fans of the Indian
team and so we reached the stadium at nine in the morning so that we
could get the seats next to the
pavillion.
The match began at ten in the morning and India batted
first as they won the toss and chose to bat. The indian batsmen batted
extremely well and set a fine score of four hundred and twenty six and then
the match was halted so that the players could have their lunch. After
lunch the pakistani players came out to bat and started their innings with a
lot of boundaries, After about ten overs Pakistan had lost about three
wickets and the spectators were cheering them on.
Towards the end of the match Pakistan were only
sixty runs behind the required score and had only about thirty balls left.
The pakistani fans were gettng agitated and there faces had an angry
expression. When there were only about six balls left pakistan had to hit
more than thirty two runs and so it was sure that Pakistan was going to
lose. All the spectators who were supporting India were very happy and
kept taunting all the other spectators who were supporting Pakistan. The
Pakistani supporters who were already agitated joined together and created a
riot they got physical and began to fight with the indian supporters. Many
of them were injured and three of them got trampled over by the others. The
spectators with weapons attacked the others with it and many lost their
life.
All the spectators who supported lit the flags and posters and created a
huge confusion The spectator also attacked the players, they threww things
at the players and few of them who could get through the security ran onto
the field and tried to hit the players but the commandos with the
players saved the players and escorted them into the pavillion.
At the end of the day many people died and
even more were injured, the injured ones were all rushed to the hospital
and treated. We were all very shocked at the reaction of the spectators and
the commotion created by the riots and although the day ended with a
victory it was a day of mourning as many people had lost their life and
even more were injured.

Superintendent of Police,

Dear Sir,
I am Haroon and I am a resident of JeevanBhima
Nagar. I study in the tenth standard and I am writing this letter to tell
you about my cousin who has gone missing from yesterday.
My cousin's name is Vaishak and he is two years
younger than me and he stays with me. He goes to HVK high school and is
studying in the eighth standard. Yesterday he went to school at about eight
in the morning and has not returned home since then. We even enquired in his
school and they said that he was present that day.
I would guess that somebody has kidnapped him as I
know of no reason why he should run away from home. If he has been
kidnapped It must have happened when he was on his way back home. He comes
back home walking as the school is very close to our house. Our family does
not have any misunderstandings with any other family or any grudge
against anybody.
We are all very worried about him as he could be in a
lot of danger and hope that you can help us out and bring him back home as
soon as possible. We are eagerly waiting for a reply from you as soon as
possible.
Yours Sincerely,
Haroon
Shaffy.
