   Radioactivity is a nuclear phenomenon. It is the spontaneous emission of
   alpha or beta and gamma particles from the nucleus  of an atom to attain
   stability.
   
   NOTE: It is not the spontaneous emission of alpha, beta or gamma particles
   from the nucleus  of an atom to attain stability.
