The woodchuckis a rodent of North America which hibernates through the
winter.the poet wonders whether his sleep will be an ordinary oneor along
winter sleep of the woodchuck.The narrator wants to convey through this
comparisonhe wants to have along and deep sleep i.e.,he now wants to rest of
death,a long sleep same as of that of woodchuck.
