   Bangladesh is prone to flooding because it is a flat low-lying land in the
   Ganga-Brahmaputra delta. It also gets heavy monsoonal rain.
   
   Floods are beneficial to the people of Bangladesh in the following ways as
   it causes deposition of fertile silt by floodwaters benefits agriculture.
