The most popular Brazilian cocktail made from cachaça (a blend of sugarcane and rum), brown sugar and lime wedges.

Style: Alcoholic Cocktail
2 fl oz (50 ml) cachaça
2 teaspoons brown sugar
4 ice cubes crushed
6 lime wedges
  1. Place half the lime wedges in old-fashioned glass (es). Add the brown sugar. Mix well whilst crushing the limes to form some juice.
  2. Add the crushed ice and top up with the cachaça. Stir well.
  3. Serve decorated with the remaining lime wedges.
