This bright red cocktail gets its name from the word 'sangre', Spanish for blood. It is usually made with red wine.

Change number of people to automatically recalculate ingredient amounts.

Serves: 1
Style: Alcoholic Cocktail

Serve In :Highball Glass (8 oz) as shown above

3 fl oz (75 ml) red wine
2 fl oz (50 ml) brandy
1 fl oz (25 ml) orange juice
ice cubes as required
soda water to top up
1 slice(s) of orange or lime

  1. Pour the red wine, brandy and orange juice over ice cubes in highball glass(es). Stir well to mix.
  2. Top up with soda water and serve garnished with slice(s) of orange or lime.
    TIP:
  • Ideally, Spanish brandy should be used to make Sangria.
