Singapore Sling

A blend of gin, cherry brandy and sweet and sour served topped with chilled soda.

Serve In : Collins Glass (14 oz) as shown above

1 fl oz (25 ml) gin
½ fl oz (12 ml) cherry brandy
2 fl oz (50 ml) sweet and sour
ice cubes as required
club soda as required
2 cherries to garnish

Pour all the ingredients except the club soda and cherry into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well.
Strain the mixture into collins glass(es). Fill with club soda.
Garnish with the cherries and serve.

TIP:

Sweet and sour is a mixer made of a blend of lemon juice and sugar syrup. It is also known as sour mix or bar mix.
If more sweetness is desired, grenadine (a strong blood-red syrup made with pomegranates and honey) can be added along with gin in the shaker.
