How does shopping on Syvum Web Site work?

Step 1: Select products

Go to our online store. Select the product and quantity that you want to purchase. Please do download and evaluate the demo versions of the products of your interest before purchasing.

Step 2: Confirmation

A confirmation page is presented to you with the total value of your order after you have selected the products you wish to purchase. You are required to enter your name, email address and postal address to proceed. The credit card number is taken in the next step.

Step 3: Credit card details

This step takes you to our credit card processor's site, where your credit card details (the name, number and expiry date on the credit card) are requested. This is done through a secure connection with state-of-the-art encryption. The transaction is approved subject to the verification of your credit card number and other details.

Step 4: Email receipt and installation codes

After the transaction is approved, you are automatically sent an email by Syvum Customer Service with all the product installation codes. This normally takes a few seconds, and you can expect to receive this email even before you proceed to the next step. You also receive an email which is an electronic receipt of the order.

Step 5: Product delivery

• Software products: Installation of Syvum software products is a very simple process. We have invested in our own infrastructure and technology to enable you to install our products direct from the web through a very simple interface. The SyvumBooks purchased from our shop are "add-ons" to Syvum Browser available from this link. Please install the Syvum Browser, a program written specifically to enhance your SyvumBook browsing experience. Once the Syvum Browser is installed, you simply need to select the File/New... menu item, and provide the install code emailed to you in Step 4. This will allow the Syvum Browser to download the purchased SyvumBooks from our web site and install them on your computer. You are required to remain connected to the internet for the download to occur. To protect your privacy, only the installation codes are passed by the Syvum Browser to our web site. No personal information (such as your name, email, street address, etc.) is passed. The download time depends on the size of the SyvumBook purchased (typically less than 500 KB) and the speed of your internet connection.
• Premier memberships: Activation of Syvum premier memberships is also a simple process. The email sent to you in Step 4 contains the instructions for activation of your premier membership.
