1 oz (25 ml) blue Curaçao
1 oz (25 ml) Amaretto di Saronno
1 oz (25 ml) lemon juice
chilled champagne to top up
1 spiral(s) of lemon rind
- Pour the blue Curaçao, Amaretto di Saronno and lemon juice in tall flute glass(es).
- Top up with chilled champagne. To retain bubbles, do not stir.
- Serve decorated with a spiral(s) of lemon rind.
TIP:
- Curaçao is a general term for an orange-flavored liqueur made from the dried peel of bitter oranges found in the Caribbean island of Curaçao. Blue Curaçao is blue in color and gives color to drinks.
- Amaretto di Saronno is a liqueur made from almonds and apricots. It originated in Saronno, Italy.
