             Rate%(r)=4%
   
   
             Interest(I)=Rs.340
   
   
    Let,Principal be "P"
   
   
   I=P*t*r/100
   
   
   340=P*2*4/100
   
   
   P=340*100/2*4
   
   
   P=4250
   
   
   Therefore, The sum of money on which Interest is calculated is Rs.4250.

   can think that AD is parallel to BC its neither anywhere mentioned or
   depicted...
