Basil Garlic Sauce


Garlic and fresh basil sauteed in hot butter till aromatic. This sauce can be enjoyed with gnocchi of your choice.

4  tablespoon(s) butter
4  tablespoon(s) finely chopped or grated garlic
6  tablespoon(s) shredded fresh basil
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and when foaming, add the garlic. Saute on low heat for about 2  minute(s) or till aromatic taking care not to brown the garlic. Stir in thre fresh basil. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.


  • basil garlic sauce can be poured on a gnocchi of your choice and baked topped with cheese.

Serve hot with: Spinach and ricotta cheese gnocchi.
