God cursed and punished Cain that he will become a fugitive and a vagabond.
Lord said unto Cain, "Whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold". And then Lord set a mark upon Cain to prevent anybody from killing him.
Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
Cain had a son named Enoch and he build a city named after his son.
After the death of Abel, Adam and Eve bore another son and named him Seth.
